Jadi yang namanya scientific notation tidak lain adalah suatu cara untuk menyederhanakan penyebutan dari sebuah nilai sehingga didapatkan penyebutan yang lebih mudah, biasa cara ini dilakukan ketika kita ingin menemukan keakuratan sebuah nilai.

<p class="MsoNormal">Ada yang belum tahu bedanya scientific notation dengan metric notation, baiklah disini kak eko akan menjelaskannya <span style="font-family:Wingdings;"><span>J</span></span> . Jadi yang namanya scientific notation tidak lain adalah suatu cara untuk menyederhanakan penyebutan dari sebuah nilai sehingga didapatkan penyebutan yang lebih mudah, biasa cara ini dilakukan ketika kita ingin menemukan keakuratan sebuah nilai.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> Daripada bingung ini nih yang namanya scientific notation.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Ada yang masih ngat massa proton <span style="font-family:Wingdings;"><span>J</span></span> ini nih masa proton = 0.00000000000000000000000167 grams nah kalau kita nyebutin tuh nilai kan puanjang banget khan ribet bilangnya, nah dengan scientific notation kita bisa menyebutnya dengan cara yang lebih pendek lebih simple. Maka massa proton kalau disederhanakan akan menjadi 1.67 x 10<sup>-24</sup> grams nah gampang kan nyebutnya, 1,67 dikali 10 pangkat minus 24 ngga lagi ribet 0.00000000000000000000000167 grams. Caranya ada yang belum tahu pasti dah tau semua kan masa ngga bisa, caranya gampang tinggal dihitung mundur komanya kebelakang sampai dengan dibelakang satu maka akan didapat nilai 24 dikarenakan nol koma maka nilainya jadi minus. Contoh lain yang lebih gampang misalkan 1000 maka akan menjadi 1 x 10<sup>3</sup> kalau yang ini dikarenakan nilainya tidak nol koma maka nilainya positif sehingga komanya degeser kedepan sehingga menjadi dibelakang 1 sebesar 3 maka menjadi 10 pangkat 3 alias 10<sup>3</sup>.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Nah kalau tadi kita bicara tentang scientific notation sekarang kita akan bicara tentang metric notation, nah kalau yang ini lebih mudah lagi, jadi kalau pada scientific notation kita nyebutnya 10<sup>3</sup> nah kalau disini akan diganti dengan satuan lain sehingga menjadi 1 kilo, berikut konversinya.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Sekarang dah tau khan bedanya jadi kalau kita nemuin satuan-satuan tersebut ngga usah bingung Cuma cara penyebutannya aja yang beda.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;"> Contoh : daya listrik sebesar 15000 Volt</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;">Maka cara nyebutnya dalam satuan scientific akan menjadi 15 x 10<sup>3</sup> volt</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;">Kalau dalam metric akan menjadi 15 KV ( Kilo Volt)</p>
